Our mission is to be the most sustainable photo keepsake company on Earth. In order to continue to make amazing memories well in the future, it’s on all of us to make sure that we are living sustainably. We have established two main partnerships in support of this goal.
First, each year we undergo Climate Neutral certification. This requires us to calculate and offset our entire carbon footprint through the purchase of carbon credits. We also create an annual action plan to reduce our carbon footprint over the following year. In the past, our action plan has included reduction of materials in packaging, switching to recycled materials, logistics optimizations, and other initiatives.
Second, Frameology partners with 1% for the Planet to donate 1% of our sales to the preservation of the natural environment. Carbon offsets account for part of this commitment, and the balance goes to an environment-related NGO of our customers’ choosing. Once a year our employees nominate 3-5 nonprofits that we believe will have the greatest positive impact. We then ask our customers (you!) to vote on who to support. The nonprofit with the most votes wins our donation.

When a brand gets certified, it achieves zero net carbon emissions for all of the carbon it creates while making and delivering its products or services for a year.
